Pack Meeting [Check calendar for location and dates for this month]
Planning meetings are held every first Thursday of the month. The objective of the meeting is to plan the proceeding of the Pack including the next Pack meeting. Parents are encouraged to join this meeting and voice their opinions. It acts as a feedback loop for the Pack Leadership to understand what is going well and what can be improved to help the pack grow.
Pack Meeting [ Check calendar for location and dates for this month]
Pack Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month. This is an avenue for the entire Pack to meet together. Boys will receive their advancement badges and other recognition items, such as patches for day camp participation, Cub Scout Academics and Sports belt loops and pins, and other awards. Every boy has a chance to be individually recognized.
We are looking for volunteers for several open roles. We will be reaching out to parents individually within the next few weeks for those that haven’t yet decided how they would like to help out. It’s important that parents help out in some way – both at the den level and at the Pack level to ensure that the boys get the most out of Cub Scouting. If you have ideas on how you would like to help out, please let me know.
We will be moving to a new scout tracking system from next year. Please go to http://www.scoutbook.com for all your scouts activity tracking from June 2016.
Rechartering has started, and with it the need to be up to date on your leader-specific training. Please go to : https://myscouting.org
and log in or create an account if you’re new to scouting. Go to Training, then E-Learning.Any course you need to take will be listed
